CDs for the Red Cross

I am astounded by the disaster in New Orleans and the gulf states. In response, CDBaby.com has created a program where artists can sell their CDs and give all of their profits to the American Red Cross.

I am participating in this program. Not to increase sales, but to entice people to give more than they might, and to give something back to people who give to those in need. For each CD sold at $10, $6.00 will go to the American Red Cross, $4 will go to CDBaby and nothing will come to me.

You can see a complete list of the CDs included in this charity program here.

My CDs are here:

Jesse Kates - Sleight of Hand

Whitford - Whitford Whitford

Whitford - Orson Welles: planetdevouringrobot

The individual album pages at CDBaby aren't updated to show the charity program, yet, but rest assured that all of my profits are routing to the American Red Cross.

I am still alive

Just a note to confirm this all-important fact!

I have been super busy rehearsing both with The Sexy Accident and McCracken. Chuck and I are very excited about our debut at the Brick on Friday, September 16th.

And since I haven't mentioned it here before, I might as well - I am going to be a father soon! This winter! Stephanie and I are having a baby boy sometime in December or early January.

So things are crazy, but the lack of blog posts is directly proportional to the massive amount of music that you will soon be inundated with.

The Sexy Accident enters the studio sometime next month. We intend to release an album in the Spring!

Also - THIS happened:

Word to your mother!
