It's hot

Poked past 90 today in the KC metro. Bizarre, as Steph and I will be flying to colder, mountainous weather shortly. My brother warns me to wear warm clothes.

Rehearsed last night with my new drummer, Billy Brown. I noticed that he flips his sticks in the air as he plays (particularly during the easy parts) which is pretty cool. When questioned about it, he indicated that if I watch, he will mess up, but if I don't, I can be confident that the sticks are flipping smoothly. Rock.

We are rehearsing seven songs, and will likely make our debut in late July. More info soon!

I can chew gum and play at the same time some days.

I still prefer Kates's earlier work with Pedestrian survival jump, somehow I can get past the fact that the bottom has dropped out musically without fisher on Bass.

I don't know, I seem to remember more bottoms dropping out when Fisher was around... :)
