Westend Recording Comp

Westend is our favorite Kansas City studio.  We've recorded three projects there: Ninja Ninja Fight Darth Vader, the You're Not Alone EP and the Now That She's Gone EP.  Recording to tape through Mike's impressive collection of vintage gear is a luxury, and the studio is very comfortable to work in.

So we're pleased to be included in this free comp of songs recorded at Westend!  We're in good company, I think.

New bass, press, tracks

Three things:

1) Mark Hamblin has returned to the fold for another round of bass duties!



2) We recently rocked a massive benefit for Academie Lafayette, a K-8 public french immersion charter school nestled in the middle of the troubled Kansas City school district.  Here's a write up and some photos!

3) We are rehearsing and arranging tunes for our fifth full-length, to be recorded this summer with our producer, Steve Fisk.  The titles thus far: Secret Muse, I'm So Yours, Gracefully, You Were My Dream, Business Shirt, Daphne, Sometimes, and The Simple Thing is Nothing.  Tantalizing!
